Microsoft Teams is one of the safest ,secured and best platform for our students . You can engage students with virtual face-to-face connections and activities , chat , video call and share your screen . It’s free for students and teachers with a valid school email address.
Here is an explanation of the steps you need to go through when setting up a valid account for you and your students.
1- Go to Microsoft setup . The link is attached here
Fill in your details . You can enter school email address or your personal email Id.
1a. Select the size of your organisation.
2- You can now create a unique user ID for your organisation .
2a. Fill in the required info and create your account .
3- Verify your account
4- Save this info as you might need it later . Within seconds your account will be ready to use.
5- You will arrive at your home-page . If you wish to access it for free then click the home icon on the left top corner of your screen.
6- Click on Go to setup .
7- Select the default Domain .
Then click on use this domain.
8- a. Add Ss details and a unique username for them . eg: John3A4
b. Check “send passwords of new users ” to your email address.
c. Click Add users and assign licenses.
9- A Valid unique school email address is ready for each student.
You can send them their account details via mail or download it and send the user Id and password via whats app/DM.
You are all set to go and teach your students through more safer and authentic platform.
