1- Creating Attendance Form
We are all looking for an automated attendance option in MS. We do have some apps available which support this feature but still facing some technical errors. It’s really hard to capture everyone’s attendance record in a meeting and save it as an image.
Here is an easy way to record and export the real-time(or the overall) attendance directly and then we download as an excel sheet.
1- Go to Microsoft Forms.
2- Select a New Form.
3- You can name it as ” Attendance Week 1 ” or name as per your requirement.
4- Click on Add New and then select Text.
5- Add-in questions as per your requirements. Eg: First name, Last Name, ID, etc
6- Once you’ve entered all the required no , go to share menu on the right top corner. You can choose to share the link or QR code with anyone or only the person in your organization.
For Qr code select the second option.
7- Download the code and save it.
8- You can share this QR code using the share screen option. It’s up to you to share it before the class, in between, or when you end your session. ( your student will scan the code and fill in their details )
Downloading attendance report
1- Select the responses tab from the home page which you created.
2- Click on the open in Excel icon and save this file.
3- Your file will look something like this with the time stamp and the info. You can customize this excel sheet according to names, dates, or give color codes.
